LASER CARBON PEEL
A Laser Carbon Peel is a revolutionary laser treatment suitable for all ages. This procedure leaves your skin smoother, plumper, and refreshed. Known as the Hollywood Peel, the Laser Carbon Facial offers a 4-in-1 solution to rejuvenate your skin with minimal downtime.
The laser Carbon facial peel is an exfoliating and resurfacing treatment. It uses activated carbon mask and advanced lasers to treat many conditions.
Laser Carbon Peel will exfoliate the skin four times deeper than a peel, but it is completely non-invasive. Promising “collagen remodelling”, carbon laser peel is known to help even skin tone and reduce the appearance of fine lines, scars and pigmentation.
In general, it is great for anti-ageing, pigmentation, redness, rosacea, acne, dehydrated and dull skin. It is also particularly beneficial for people with oily skin, blackheads, and enlarged pores because it blasts these issues out of the skin.
The laser energy works in two ways: first, it gently targets the melanin (pigmentation) in the cells breaking it up for your body’s natural removal processes. Then it heats deep in the dermis causing the skin to contract and stimulate collagen.
What areas can a carbon peel be used to treat?
The Carbon Peel is a versatile treatment suitable for:
- Rejuvenating tired and aging skin
- Smoothing uneven skin tone and texture
- Treating pigmentation
- Addressing acne concerns
- Reducing the appearance of enlarged pores
It is a gentle procedure, often felt as a minor prick, and is considered safe without significant side effects. Typically, slight redness and tingling may occur but subside quickly. A course of 3 treatments every 2-3 weeks is recommended for optimal, lasting results. Post-treatment care includes using aloe vera for redness and SPF to prevent hyperpigmentation.
Does a Laser Carbon Peel Hurt?
Not at all. You may experience sensations similar to a very small prick.
Are there any side effects of a Carbon Peel?
The Carbon Peel is a safe skin treatment with no major complications or painful side effects reported. Following the treatment, some slight redness and tingling may occur but will quickly subside. There’s no downtime required, allowing for an immediate return to daily activities.
How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions needed depends on the treatment area’s size and the desired effect. Typically, we recommend a course of 3 treatments, every 2-3 weeks, for the best and long-lasting results.
How do I look after my skin after the treatment?
Though you may experience some slight redness, this will clear up within a few hours, and can be soothed with some aloe vera gel. We recommend keeping the skin clean and dry while it’s red, but once this has cleared up, makeup can be worn. Try to avoid oily makeup however, as this will clog your pores again. Natural mineral foundations are always a good idea.
Results can be enhanced with minimal sun exposure, a reduction in stress and the absence of smoking. We recommend using SPF sun cream to protect the area for at least 1 month following on from treatment, a
failure to do so could result in hyperpigmentation.
The skin via the heat generated from the laser treatment, whereas the chemical peel tends to achieve similar results via a chemical reaction. Those prone to breakouts and eczema would also find the Carbon Peel kinder to their skin to.
